Fuschia into 2009

Since the speech, I can't stop thinking about this picture. The Obama ladies, all coordinating, with these gorgeous fuschia-pink dresses. Before this picture, I knew that I wanted this color incorporated in my daughter's future, room re-design. Before this idea for Olivia's room, the last time I met this color in all it's splendor was back in 1991 (I was ten years old.) The color theme for my aunt's wedding - frilly, crazy, lacy, bright fuschia.

It always amazes me when a fashion trend returns but returns with grace. Modern, and this time around, pleasing to the eye.

Happy November to you!  I had an idea this morning to create a blog dedicated solely to anything - and I mean any THING - that I am really into at the moment.  Be it clothing, styles, accessories, colors, foods, restaurants, books, gadgets, movies, toys, art, design, home goods... anything!  I find that when the weather turns cooler and the closer we come to the Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year,) I become inspired.  Perhaps it is the new, cool wind, the changing color of our scenery, or the bright, beautifully colored marketing ads designed to entice consumers...  Whatever the case may be, if the thing has preoccupied my mind excessively, I'll probably put it up here.  Maybe my blogs will inspire light and love and thoughtful gifts this season!  Enjoy.  :)
